Holiday operator Queenwood Group wants to totally transform the existing Retallack Resort &?Spa and Spirit of the West theme park at Winnards Perch into a high-quality, surf orientated resort named ‘Retallack Surfside’. The leisure centre would include a state-of-the-art wave pool capable of generating large, artificial waves, a man-made inland beach, shops, accommodation and restaurant. The managing director of Queenwood Group says the park would help to create a sustainable attraction within Newquay for both visitors and residents.
